Days of rain, and the stream is only a gurgle. Even as the sky clears, in the woods the rain is still making its slow way to the ground.

A rare example of me trying to make a didactic point, in this case about the superior water-retention qualities of (mostly-) forested watersheds. Not sure how much of that came through, though.
