Drifts of white on the springhouse roof: not fallen blossoms, but last night’s pellet snow. Tree creaks join the dawn chorus.

  1. Pellet snow here last night in the Black Hills too! No fallen blossoms here either.


    1. I do have some fallen cherry blossoms on my porch, but most are still on the tree.
