Snow like a coating of mildew on fallen leaves. Sunrise turns the western ridge blood-red, punctuated by the yellow ribs of dead trees.

  1. I like that there is a duality about whether there is
a snow like dusting of mildew
or a mildew dusting of snow.
    Perhaps both =)

    Here is my echo =).

    Bright heat fills the senses.
    Leaves, green flags answering.
    Scarlet flowering beans hold close.
Parsley pollen dust like fine snow.

    ….

Tree, your form follows life in honest congruence,
    a fibonacci elegance written incrementally,
    in amber-red blood and grain.
