Thunderstorm just past, many leaves on the maple and black cherry trees remain upside-down, like pale, open palms turned toward the sky.

Thank you for this. I study Torah every week with a friend, and just completed that and read today’s offering. We’ve just had violence threats in our small community that has made us cancel a planned vigil in support of Black Lives Matter. Those pale open palms turned toward the sky in this historical moment says a lot to me.

Hi Susan. Glad that image helped you. Some opponents of BLM and fearful business owners have reacted aggressively in small towns around here, too, but to me the real story is that a lot of people care enough to protest – and that they appear to out-number their opponents.
