Seriously. Whether the hurricane blew them in or just gave them what they’d been waiting for, we’ve never seen the mosquitoes so bad up here.
As my mom pointed out this morning, the recent die-off of the vast majority of our bats due to white-nose syndrome may be a contributing factor.
Hope they are not biting too much.
They were, but their numbers seem to be declining now. Though it’s still raining, so probably we’ll have another bloom. :(
