  1. TATA TO ALL THAT THEN?

    Clouds clean up, when it rains.
    There is a population growth under the lilac.
    Too much too soon, perhaps?

    Snow patches linger, at the edges
    of the primrose path; before another sunrise,
    there must needs be a lot of clucking.

    Sipping my tepid tea at the porch,
    I feel long shadows at sundown jump at me
    cackling of other voices, other rooms.
