Coming back from the Adirondacks, I find a different mountain: much redder and yellower than it was a week ago, and much less mountainous.

  1. That has happened to me too. Sharptop has shown itself to be decidedly less mountain-y (for some reason mountainous doesn’t seem to be the right word here) on several occasions when I have come back after a time away.

  2. You’re right: “mountainous” really doesn’t, or shouldn’t, pertain to a single mountain, though “mountain-y” is obviously a bit awkward.

  3. I love the way this page is designed, Dave. Terrific banner.

  4. Thanks. This theme is so sophisticated it’s ridiculous — like driving a Ferrari to go to the corner store (albeit a Ferrari with a lot of custom styling).
