Riddle me this: Because of the heavy acorn crop, next summer we will see more roses. And this: the oak forest moves north on corvid wings.

  1. I had to look up the word corvid. I like when I am confronted with a word I don’t already know the meaning of.


    1. Oh good! Not one of most poetic entries, but you can’t be inspired all the time.
